Original vintage posters cost $300 to $3,000, fade quickly, and rarely match the size you actually need.

For a standard residential stairwell, 16×20 inch prints in matching natural oak frames, with 5 inches of vertical space between frames, climbing diagonally at the same rate as the stairs. A 5-print or 7-print run is the visual sweet spot.

Only when mismatched. A curated set of 5 to 7 travel posters in a single visual style — all WPA national parks, or all mid-century European cities — reads as sophisticated and well-traveled. Mixing styles or adding souvenir shop prints is what makes a travel wall feel cheap.

Yes — every travel poster design is available on both 200gsm archival matte paper and 100% cotton canvas stretched on a solid pine wood frame. We recommend paper for stairwells and gallery walls (consistent thin profile when framed), and canvas for single oversized statement placements.

Pick one visual style and stick to it. Use identical frame finishes across all prints. For vertical stairwell galleries, climb diagonally at the same rate as the stairs with 4 to 6 inches between frames. For horizontal galleries, align tops or centerlines (never bottoms — uneven bottoms look unintentional).
